Founded in 2003, New Beagle Publishing (‘NBP’) is the first publishing company dedicated exclusively to a new genre of poetry called ‘poenza’.  Derived from the Italian words (‘scienza’ and ‘poesia’), poenza is rich, intellectually stimulating, and is created by those interested and informed by the life, natural, and cognitive sciences. The leading authors of NPB share their experiences and personal meaning of the wonders of the natural world through creative expression. Their poetry has been enjoyed in private groups for years, and is now being shared and celebrated in academic, scientific, and professional communities throughout the United States.

As a smaller, boutique publishing firm focused solely on the advancement of poenza, New Beagle Publishing has aligned its resources to successfully recruit, manage, and promote leading talent in this new field. With additional support from poetry associations,

clubs and industry veterans, poenza hopes to quickly become a popular and influential movement. NBP will endeavor to give fair review to all those artists and scientists interested in advancing the wonders of science through poetic expression.
